Position:
Employment & Recovery Services Manager
FTE Allocation:
1.0 FTE. Full Time Exempt Position
Wage Range:
$43,153 - $53,892 annual DOE
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in human services field from an accredited college or university and four years experience working with emotionally disturbed adults in community mental health or clubhouse setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge and abilities. WA state mental health professional and two years of experience in clinical and administrative supervision and experience with integrated team service delivery models preferred.
Specific Qualifications:
- Demonstrated empathy and welcoming style for persons with mental illness and the homeless.
- Demonstrated commitment to empower consumers toward recovery and leadership development.
- Experience supporting consumer vocational goals and managing vocational services, and a broad vision of what employment opportunities can be for the mentally ill.
- Demonstrated skills at building relationships with employers and larger economic community
- Management experience supporting consumer organizations and working with peer counselors, including reasonable accommodation of peers when they are symptomatic.
- Understanding of the clubhouse model, treatment of co-occurring disorders, and domestic violence roots of many mental illnesses.
- Leadership and decision-making abilities, flexibility and good communication skills.
