Position: Executive Director

Whatcom Counseling and Psychiatric Clinic, a comprehensive community mental health center in Bellingham, WA with a staff just under 100 is seeking a full-time Executive Director. The position is responsible to the Board of Directors for the overall administration of all clinic programs and functions. The Executive Director also manages the relationships with the clinic’s primary State/County/Local and private funders.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters Degree (MBA, MPA preferred) and ten+ years experience in the field of Community Mental Health, a minimum of five of which should be with management/administrative responsibilities. Preference given to candidates with a broad-based background in mental health and drug & alcohol treatment within a unionized environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership excellence with superior communication and organizational skills.
