Rainbow Center is a
downtown Bellingham drop-in facility where a wide variety of
activities are provided for more than 100 mentally ill
adults each day.
The Center provides a safe place
where people in recovery can meet, have
meaningful work, and develop meaningful relationships.
Membership is voluntary and has no
time limits. Work in the Center is designed to help members
retain self-worth, purpose and confidence by engaging members
and staff together in developing and administering activities.
Program components include
communications, administration, vocational, peer support and
education, food service and maintenance.
Laundry and shower facilities are
available and breakfast is available in the mornings.
Lunch is served at noon for $1 or Rainbow Community work.
